For 23 years she managed a leadership-level giving portfolio, and her team, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison through 3 successful campaigns including the $1.8 Billion Create-the-Future Campaign. For the past decade, her presentations worldwide and her coaching programs have empowered clients to transform their giving results from low 5-6-figures to $20 million and more. A UW-Madison biochemist and animal scientist by training, she holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), Professional Life Coach Certification (UW-Madison), CFRE and AFP Master Teacher designation. She's been honored with the CASE Crystal Apple, CASE Laureate membership, and AFP Outstanding Fundraising Professional awards. Her book, "Empowering Your Board to Serve as Effective Development Ambassadors" is a go-to resource for non-profit boards and staff alike and was translated into Spanish by the AFP Mexico Foundation. For 35 years Marcy has studied mindset and fronted her own band, so her presentations are peppered with her empowering declarations and her original fundraising tunes.
