Stephanie Cory, CAP®, CFRE®, AFP®

Consultant and Adjunct Faculty, Villanova University

Stephanie Cory has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector since 2003 in a variety of roles from program manager to development director to executive director. This includes a long tenure as the director of philanthropy for Kendal-Crosslands Communities, a life-plan community where she focused on developing and growing a planned giving program. Stephanie currently splits her time as a consultant and adjunct faculty for Villanova University. She earned her designation as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) from the American College of Financial Services and has been a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 2008.

A dedicated member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Stephanie has served on its board of directors, earned the designation of AFP Master Trainer, and currently serves as president of the AFP Brandywine Chapter. She is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of fundraising topics. Stephanie authored a chapter on boards and fundraising for the second edition of The Handbook of Board Governance, which was published by Wiley in 2020. She earned her BS in accounting and MS in gerontology from the University of Southern California as well as an MEd in adult and organizational development from Temple University.
